John Converse is a restorative practitioner who brings 19 years of educational experience to life in his interactions with others. He has a set of skills that foster belonging and connection through the art of restorative practices.  He is a certified trainer with the International Institute for Restorative Practices(IIRP), Crisis Prevention Institute(CPI), and Youth Mental Health First Aid(YMHFA). These skills have helped him navigate the education field and build relationships with staff, students, and community members in all areas.  His background includes roles as a classroom teacher and school administrator. He is currently the Director of Restorative Practices at EducationPlus, a non-profit focused on empowering educators throughout Missouri.
